Robert (Bob) Omamo

Aspirant MCA for Kileleshwa Ward

My name is Robert Omamo; my friends call me Bob. I am a passionate community leader committed to building a better future for Kileleshwa Ward. I believe that leadership should be accessible, accountable, and focused on solving the real issues affecting residents every day. As Kileleshwa continues to grow, I understand the challenges that come with rapid development — including traffic congestion, poor drainage, overdevelopment, illegal construction, noise pollution, and growing pressure on infrastructure.

I am vying for MCA because I believe Kileleshwa deserves leadership that listens, acts, and delivers results. My vision is to create a well-planned, secure, clean, and resident-driven ward where development is properly managed, roads and drainage are improved, businesses can thrive, and every resident has a voice in decision-making.

Through transparency, strong oversight, and meaningful community engagement, I am committed to ensuring that Kileleshwa remains one of Nairobi’s most desirable places to live, work, and raise a family.

Vision for Kileleshwa

My vision for Kileleshwa is to build a modern, secure, well-planned, and resident-focused ward where growth improves the quality of life for everyone. Kileleshwa is changing rapidly, but that growth must be guided by proper planning, accountability, and respect for the community.

I believe Kileleshwa should have safer roads, better traffic management, reliable drainage systems, and stronger infrastructure that can support a growing population. I am committed to addressing flooding, congestion, and the strain caused by uncontrolled development. Through stronger zoning enforcement and oversight, I will push for development that matches the ward’s infrastructure capacity and protects the character of Kileleshwa.

My vision also includes a cleaner and quieter environment, improved public safety, better street lighting, and stronger collaboration between residents, businesses, and county agencies. I want every resident to have a voice through regular public participation, town hall meetings, and open communication.

Above all, my vision is for a Kileleshwa where leadership is transparent, services are delivered efficiently, and every decision is made with the interests of residents first.
